Ruth is the president and I am the secretary for Citizens For Research and Education based in Ottawa. [COREOttawa] We sponsor Ian Juby [Ianjuby.org] who has material on YouTube and a program on the Miracle Channel [Genesis Week]. He is Canada's best kept secret!

We had to suspend this fund raiser but hope that in the future we might pursue this idea. 

CORE, a registered charity, is a grassroots observational science organization created to assist people in learning about the alternative view on the origins of the earth, solar system, and universe that depends on what scientists have learned from the evidence in the field and not on any preconceived philosophical system that precludes the possibility that life was created rather than just happened by chance.  

Our idea wasto create a Natural History Museum in Perth, Ontario, Canada, circa 1840 using, if possible,  the Old Perth Jail building [circa 1840] as a tourist attraction and educational centre for the Biblical worldview. There are only a few of these creation museums in Canada as there is resistance to the Christian World view here. There are other buildings in Perth of this age, however, which it may be possible to rent and this project to go forword.

CORE promotes the work of Ian Juby, a self-taught robotics engineer, museum display creator, and field researcher with many years of experience on the ground cataloging the evidence that exists that supports the earth’s history recognized by cultures all over the world he presents on his program “Genesis Week” seen on the Miracle channel and YouTube. Ian creates video materials that show the scientific evidence for recent creation and develops and disseminates video material that shows the implications of the creation science model of origins. A model that our taken for granted and believed before the turn of the century.

This approach would be in keeping with the historical nature of the museum.CORE proposed to  rent and or renovate the Old Perth Jail on Beckwith Street in the Historic town of Perth but that does not seem possible at this stage. But there are other 1840s buildings in Perth that could mount  the exhibits and so create a quality tourist attraction for the many visitors to the town.

We intend to acquire and display the fossils, and present video and displays and other materials of Mr. John Loundsberry that he has collected over the years and are part of the museum collection which is now stored in Cornwall, Ontario.

We intend to show, what an individual visiting a natural history museum  in the 1840s would expect . However, we also  intend to use what has been recently discovered and is available now that underpins the Biblical history of the world and the Judeo-Christian worldview. 

The displays will be of authentic material taken from the field or museum quality recreations of this material. See brochure in Creation Materials
